Heat Pump Grants in Kent
Upgrading to a more energy-efficient heating system is a significant investment. The Government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is designed to help, offering upfront grants to reduce the cost of installing eligible heat pumps.
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme provides a grant to cover part of the cost of replacing fossil fuel heating systems with a heat pump. The grant is administered by Ofgem and deducted directly from your quote by the installer — meaning you only pay the remaining balance.
What is not covered?
Air-to-air heat pumps (systems that do not heat water) and hybrid systems (a heat pump combined with a gas boiler) are currently not eligible for funding under the scheme.
